KAEFER Integrated Services are currently looking for a Senior Account Payable Officer to be based at our Kuala Lumpur Office supporting the Australian operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete day-to-day AP tasks including the timely and accurate processing of invoices and credits, matching invoices and the reconciliation of supplier account.
- Code and enter invoices into the ERP, ensuring proper general ledger account coding and cost centre allocation.
- Monitor and manage outstanding invoices, communicate with vendors regarding payment status, and respond to enquiries promptly.
- Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate account balances and resolve any invoice discrepancies.
- Manage a busy AP email inbox and prioritise tasks and triage escalations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies, obtain necessary approvals, and clarify invoice details.
- Process employee expense claims.
- Performing new vendor set up and changes of bank details procedures.
- Mentor and support team members by assisting with queries and training of correct processes.
- Provide assistance for annual audit for accounts payable.
- Other ad hoc duties assigned by the AP Manager & Financial Controller.
- Assisting with continuous process improvement initiatives.
About You
- A degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- Ideally five years experience working in a high volume AP environment.
- High attention to details and strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with hands on duties as well as leadership duties.
- A confident personality with the ability to adapt to growing workplace changes.
- Experience with SAP or a large ERP is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
