The Mine
Located in western Tasmania, this hard rock mine site is supported by a comfortable and well-equipped mining camp with a high standard of meals on offer.
Nature and Roster
For those keen to secure a long-term role on an 8:6 Wednesday to Wednesday roster, the site offers the following arrangements; –

• DIDO from anywhere in Tasmania such as Burnie, Launceston or Hobart
• Relocate to anywhere in Tasmania with assistance (flights, storage, shipment of 1x car)
• Live residential (within a 30 min drive of the mine) and receive an attractive residential allowance paid fortnightly

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, you will collaborate with a close-knit technical services team to uphold safety, efficiency, and compliance in mining operations, providing a critical foundation for informed decision-making. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Maintain systems that ensure data is captured, adjusted, stored and presented in accordance with regulatory minimums and in line with best industry practice.
• Provide guidance to operations to accurately execute engineering designs
• Assist in EOM reporting as required.
• Drone operations

Your Skills and Experience
You will come from a metalliferous underground mining environment. You’ll come armed with;

• Relevant tertiary education
• 4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Competent user of Deswik
