Our Client is seeking Trades Assistants ASAP at its Riverview location for ongoing work. You will be working with one of Australia’s leading transportable hire companies, who specialises in the manufacturing of modular buildings.
You will be required to work in a factory/workshop setting. These roles will be labour-intensive, so, successful candidates must be physically capable of repetitive lifting and manual handling, have experience using hand and power tools and must have building and construction industry experience, particularly in assisting tradespeople working with cladding, carpentry and/or roofing.

- Pay rate will range from $ $ per hour penalties
- Ongoing work with potential for permanency after a qualifying period
- 38-hour weeks working Monday-Friday with some Saturday overtime work

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience with hand and power tools, including electric tools and grinders
- Demonstrated building and trades experience
- Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling
- Available for 38-hour weeks and any required overtime
- Must be able to work between 6:00 am 3:00 pm Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday work
- Own, reliable transport and valid driver’s license essential
- Able to pass a full pre-employment medical including function capacity assessment and drug and alcohol screen
- Have your own basic hand tools and tool bag (all power tools will be supplied)
