DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Deliver a first-class service to our customers for mining.
Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on 7/7 roster.
Diagnose and repair HHP Cummins mining engines
Inspect and replace components as required
Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Service Supervisor
Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
Australian recognised Trade certificate\u202f(heavy Vehicle)
Apprentice trained engine technician (preferred)
Experience as a technician in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products
Ideally possess engine rebuild and reconditioning experience or knowledge
Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience highly desirable
Solid diagnostic capabilities with the help of systems on computers
QUALIFICATIONS
This role has a 7on / 7off roster, 12 hours per shift.
You will need a locally valid driving permit
You will need intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with High Horsepower engine products
Reporting to the Cummins Toowoomba Manager
