About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor (Production or Maintenance) for an exciting Permanent Full-Time Employment Opportunity, based at our new Atlas Mineral Sands Project. Reporting directly to our Project Manager, this is a fantastic hands-on role, with a wealth of exposure opportunities. Based 180km north of Perth, this is a Drive In / Drive Out position, that can offer ongoing works.
About You
- 3 years experience in a similar role (either Production OR Maintenance)
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Current Section 26 Certification
- Trade Qualification (Highly regarded)
- Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employees
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen
Responsibilities
- Delivering effective leadership through engagement, guidance, support and feedback to teams and individuals
- Monitor work tasks closely and aid in resolving any associated issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices and conduct safety reviews and inspections
- Optimize resource management to minimize costs effectively
- Encourage innovation and employee engagement to drive continuous improvement in work practices
- Current experience in a mining or civil engineering environment, working on large scale equipment.
- Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong approach to safety
