Job Summary
An exciting opportunity for a Submissions manager to join our growth team. This role will report to the General Manager for Growth at Martinus.
You will be responsible for ensuring that tender submissions, EOIs and proposals are compiled and submitted on time according to requirements. This role includes working closely with key stakeholders across the business to collect all required information and use strong editing and proofreading skills to ensure high quality bid/tender submissions.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Management of tender submissions, EOIs and proposals.
- Organisation and Management of technical information between various and multiple business units.
- Management of multiple concurrent proposals effectively in a timely manner.
- Gathering, sorting, and proofing of information from various departments and stakeholders.
- Resource and manage Submission team and their workloads and ensure staff receive training and support as required.
- Proof all bids that are produced and ensure the highest level of quality and detail is produced. Work closely with Marketing and Communications Manager to create compelling and tailored proposals.
- Work closely with Project Development Managers and Business Development Managers to create compelling and tailored proposals.
- Manage financial and commercially confidence information.
- Manage third party tender resources related to submission management (graphic design, bid writers etc).
- Lead tender meetings with various and multiple stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all documentation and uphold the highest standard in proposal presentation.
- Capture company information and build knowledge bank.
- Assist Rail Services, New Zealand and Business Development teams with resource and assistance for various proposals as required.
- Collate tendering metrics (% win rate, $ amounts tendered, etc.).
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
- Minimum 3 years experience in bid/tender coordinator or manager role or similar. – Construction/infrastructure experience.
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Office 365 (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
