With a solid reputation in the market, this company delivers projects up to $50m, specializing in high-quality commercial and industrial builds. They pride themselves on a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and commitment to excellence. Due to recent project wins, they are now looking for an experienced Site Manager to join the team.

Your New Role

As the Site Manager, you will take charge of on-site operations for projects typically in the $m range. You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. Your leadership will be critical to maintaining site safety, coordinating trades, and liaising with clients and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage all on-site activities to ensure project timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.
Lead and coordinate subcontractors and site staff, ensuring efficient workflow and problem resolution.
Monitor project progress, reporting regularly to the Project Manager on key milestones and any issues.
Ensure compliance with building regulations, codes, and company standards.
Implement and oversee site safety practices, conducting regular inspections and addressing any safety concerns.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and communication.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Relevant Trade or Tertiary Education
QBCC Supervisors License – Medium – Open
Proven experience managing commercial and industrial projects in the $m range.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams on site.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
