ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia’s largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Opportunities exist for skilled and experienced Dump Truck operators for their site near Coppabella. You will have either 12 months of experience on electric trucks – Liebherr T282 Terex MT- OR 2 years’ experience on CAT 785, CAT 793 and willing to operate electric. There is a bus provided from camp to site daily however this is strictly a drive in drive out role to camp.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Minimum 12 months on electric trucks or 2 years on mechanical
Site signed sign offs
Current Standard 11 Induction
Current Coal Board Medical – conducted within 2 years
Current Driver’s Licence
A willingness to work nightshift only
Ability to contribute and work positively in a team environment
