Reporting to the Pricing and Quotation Supervisor, the Service Pricing Specialist will play a critical role in supporting our sales and service departments with Caterpillar equipment aftermarket service pricing. Utilising their maintenance and repair skills, they will work with industry-leading systems and applications.

Their main responsibility will be to develop equipment rebuild pricing summaries, material lists, and quotations. Duties will encompass the detailed research and compiling of various levels of equipment rebuild service pricing, ranging from complete machine scope to individual components.

Furthermore, the role involves applying relevant discount programs and analysing historical data to determine competitive pricing structures. Their insights and recommendations will play a vital role in achieving key supply milestones to provide an excellent customer experience.

Location: South Guildford, WA

Roster: Monday Friday, 8.5-hour days

To be successful the following is required: 

  • Possession of a Trade Certificate Qualification in Mobile Plant maintenance or equivalent Tertiary Qualifications is highly regarded
  • Ideally, candidates will have post-qualification maintenance experience in both mining and construction equipment
  • Demonstrated expertise in equipment and component rebuilds or repairs, along with a strong grasp of service, parts, and associated maintenance costs
  • Proficiency in commercial understanding
  • Excellent communication skills, encompassing written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service, coupled with the capacity to foster and sustain productive relationships
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer literacy, including MS Office and internet-based applications
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly with figures
  • Advanced capabilities in time management, planning, and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively to achieve goals
  • Both collaborative team player and self-starter, able to work autonomously when necessary
  • Familiarity with and experience in implementing continuous improvement and lean principle methodologies is advantageous
