My client is seeking a Senior Operator/ Foreman to join their growing team, working across the wider Wellington Region and Beyond. If you’ve got excellent excavator operating skills and can lead a team, this role will see you working across several large subdivisions, water and general civil projects.

Your role will include:

Supervising and leading a crew
Accountability for resources, including people management and supply allocation
Operate excavation equipment and other plant as required
Perform manual labour as required

What we are looking for:

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in civil construction
Clean Full licence with WTR and class 2 (Ideally)
A background in both earthworks road construction, including pavement construction
Experience operating excavators raging from 5T to 30T
Ability to cut to level and final trim Working within confined spaces and bulk earthworks
Strong communication and leadership skills
