Security Systems Administrator

What You’ll Do:

  • Support Essential Infrastructure: Work closely with the Senior System Administrator and Infrastructure Manager to resolve complex technical issues, including software migrations, desktop support, and application integration, ensuring seamless operations during the project.
  • Engage in Strategic Security Projects: Be actively involved in security-focused projects, contributing to the deployment, upgrade, and migration of critical government systems.
  • Security Leadership: Maintain and monitor system security access, ensuring that robust security controls are in place to protect sensitive data and operations.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Collaborate with ICT Teams to document processes thoroughly, ensuring that all supporting processes are centralized and accessible. You’ll also help maintain system integrity and ensure business continuity.
  • Daily Operations & Mobile Support: Oversee daily Security Operations Center (SOC) activities and provide mobile ICT support when needed, keeping the project running smoothly.

What You Bring:

  • Technical Mastery: Demonstrated experience in testing, implementing, and administering ICT systems and networks within a complex environment.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Strong skills in analyzing technical issues and recommending effective solutions.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across teams.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Extensive understanding of cybersecurity principles, including penetration testing and the Essential 8 Maturity Model, and hands-on experience in security management.
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a security or systems administration role, particularly within a governmental or similarly complex setting.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance.
  • Valid driver’s license.
