About the Role:
National Pump & Energy has an exciting opportunity to join our sales team within our Kalgoorlie branch, for an enthusiastic Sales Cadet who is looking to commence their career in the pumping industry.
Reporting to the Sales Lead, this role is primarily responsible for assisting in the day to day sales enquiries with a focus on delivering the best solution to meet client needs.
Our structured Sales Cadet development program, will provide a fantastic opportunity to become an industry expert , learning valuable sales skills through on-the-job training, problem solving and professional development, whilst giving you greater exposure to wider aspects of our business.
The successful applicant does not require any prior experience in sales; but we are looking for an energetic and passionate person with a desire to transition into a full time Sales Specialist role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales Lead and Sales Team
- Assisting with sales enquires/escalating leads to Sales Lead
- Liaising with our suppliers about products (sales, spare parts, lead times and product data sheets)
- Assist in managing and maintaining customer relationships
- Coordinate and schedule client meetings as required
- Assist with producing materials (including but not limited to PowerPoint presentations and briefs)
- Formulate reports for monthly management meetings and as requested
Desirable:
- Experience in Rental, Mining or Construction Industries (or similar)
- Certificate III Business Administration (or similar)
Skills & Experience:
- Great problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work unsupervised or with limited direction
- A high level of discretion and professionalism
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Friendly and professional demeanour
- Microsoft Office Suite skills
