Riggers are a mainstay of our work on site, playing a hands-on role in making sure work is carried out accurately and safely. Whether it is lifting or transport operations, or both, as a rigger youll be able to take great pride in being a cornerstone of the projects you work on.Mammoet Australia are seeking Riggers to join our FMG Christmas Creek maintenance crew.

This role will be a salary based position on a 2 and 1 Day / Night Shift FIFO roster from Perth flying in and out on Wednesdays. Our fleet consists of a MAC25 and a LTM, where you will be required to support all maintenance lift requirements and project works onsite. 

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

• Mobilization and demobilization of the assigned crane in relevant configuration
• Operating the crane in line with work standards and instructions
• Positioning and repositioning the load
• Performing periodic preventative and routine maintenance
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and effectively

WHAT YOULL NEED

• Local West Australian resident
• Minimum two years experience in heavy lifting operations
• High Risk Work License – RI
• Working at Heights (within 2 years)
• Drivers License
• Forklift ticket – Highly desirable
• Point of Hire – Perth based only applicants
• Experience in Shutdowns and Maintenance based work is a must
