About the Company:

Stellar Recruitment is partnered with an Australasian electrical outfit who have won a huge amount of work and are looking to bring on registered electricians on either a permanent or temporary basis. Our client will be working on data facilities so experience in this would be extremely beneficial.

Our client provides a full range of integrated electrical services, always aiming to add value and exceed expectations. Our client focuses on all construction industries including commercial, industrial, residential and infrastructure.

The role:

Excellent general knowledge of electrical repair, maintenance and inspections
Ability to analyse problems and implement effective solutions on a timely basis.
Knowledge on DCS and SCADA systems
Installation, calibration and setting up of field control instruments
Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Hot and cold loop checks on installation
Main switchboard assembly and wiring
Highly skilled in electrical drawings interpretation and circuit developing
Installing, wiring, commissioning and programming variable speed drives and soft starters
Cable termination and glanding for XLPE, S.W.A, PVC single core up to 500 mm3 and 3 / 4 core cables up to 300 mm3
Identify areas for improvement and implement safety and productivity enhancement solutions.

To be successful you will have:

A NZ or AU Citizen OR Hold a Resident visa
Clean drivers license
Current NZ EWRB and practicing license
Diploma in Electrical Installations (NZ, Australia or UK certified are accepted)
Proven experience of Electrical compliance with NZ standards
Certified or able to show competency in Process Control systems
