We have an enticing Refrigeration Mechanic (residential) position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Operation that boasts a 10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of an 5/2, 4/3 (10 hour day) roster.

Heres what awaits you:

  • Ensuring relevant environmental & statutory compliances are adhered to in regards to the handling, disposing and documentation of refrigerant gases as per relevant Australian Laws & Standards.
  • Working as part of the maintenance team, providing an effective and responsive maintenance function to the production section at KCGMs operations.
  • Completing maintenance tasks as directed by the Supervisor or from Work Order instructions. Completing statutory maintenance as required by MSI regulations and completing logbook entries.
  • Undertaking duties to assist other departments, trades or operations when available. Installing and setting up new electrical & refrigeration equipment as required.

To thrive in this role, youll need:

Experience: Have high attention to detail and have a high value for safety. The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to retain and apply knowledge to day to day tasks.

Qualifications: Refrigeration Technician/ Mechanic restricted Qualification and WA Electrical Licence. HRWL EWP & Working at Heights accredited. Current C Class Western Australian Drivers Licence and a National Police Clearance.
