Quality Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Wingfield, S.A. on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will drive a culture of best practice across all technical and quality areas, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a growing organization within the Oil and Gas industry. 

Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Best Practice Culture: Drive a culture of best practice for all technical and quality areas, fostering a commitment to excellence.
  • Support and Advice: Provide assistance and advice to management and operation staff across all business streams and facilities, ensuring optimal performance.
  • QMS Implementation: Implement, maintain, and manage the group Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring it meets the needs of the business.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance of the QMS with internal and external requirements, including those of customers, licensors, API, and certification bodies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement within the group, encouraging innovation and efficiency in all processes.
  • Formal qualification in related technical /quality equivalency
  • Trade qualification (Fitter & Turner/Metal Machinist) or extensive exposure to QA/QC inspections or extensive exposure to QMS
  • Vast understating of QMS including IS and/or ISO requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in QMS and related field
  • Knowledge of API requirements and Oil and Gas premium threads
  • Auditing qualification
  • Experience in the Manufacturing, Machine Shop, and Oil and Gas industries is highly desirable.
  • This position is office-based at Wingfield, with required travel to domestic field locations and operations in PNG or interstate facilities.
