An opportunity for a Project Support Manager is currently available to join our team. This position will support the Senior Project Support Manager (S-PSM) and the National Project Support Manager to meet the objectives within the Project Support service line.
While this role does not deliver projects, it is critical for the support of the Defence contract and the successful development, delivery and operational incorporation of works into the Estate by other contractors to Defence. You will be exposed to some of Australias largest and complex building and infrastructure projects.
What youll bring
- Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian Citizenship Mandatory)
- Relevant construction and/or engineering industry certification and /or tertiary qualifications.
- Diploma in Project Management or equivalent experience preferred.
- Significant experience in a similar field, i.e. asset/project management and analysis in the building industry including understanding of the NCC (BCA) and relevant Australian Standards.
- Ability to rapidly acquire a strong understanding of the Defence Estate Quality; Management System (DEQMS) and respective Defence guidelines and standards.
