WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:

The Project Manager has responsibility for management of all project related activities as assigned to the team, including:

  • Planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating assigned engineering, production and project management related work to ensure contract delivery, budgetary, quality and operational targets and objectives are met.
  • Monitoring work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and Androck standards.
  • Ensuring effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants.
  • Build, establish and maintain effective internal/external customer relations to ensure continued customer satisfaction; and
  • Mentor Project Management Team Members
  • Ensuring the customers requirements from receipt of contract to completion are met and within budget.

Expected to have sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognise when technical problems are developing in the various disciplines, and to initiate appropriate corrective actions to bring projects back onto plan and budget.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Project management or Engineering qualifications.
  • Experience running multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience in underground mining equipment overhaul works.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Competent in the Microsoft Office applications.
