About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our Southern Cross Water team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based at our Murarrie Qld office, this role will provide support to the Southern Cross Water team in project administration, project co-ordination, design and water tank engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing purchasing schedule in conjunction with the project engineer/manager.
- Generating Purchase Orders, Goods Received Orders and other related documentation.
- Assisting the Operations Manager and Project Managers with administrative tasks.
- Setting up projects in SAP.
- Ensuring cost control procedures are maintained.
- Reviewing work procedures before work commences, for quality compliance.
- Studying and analysing job documents (contracts, drawings and specifications), to confirm inclusions and exclusions, highlighting any specific requirements to consider regarding price and scope.
- Actively participating in the maintenance of the Quality Management System and Health & Safety Management Plan.
- Confirming job completion and issuing final closeout documents (invoices, MDR, OMM).
Skills and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, or current studies, in Building, Construction or Engineering.
- Current drivers licence.
- Ability to interpret drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining client and subcontractor relationships.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to deliver timely client responses.
- Drafting experience/exposure, using AutoCAD and Solid Work would be an advantage (desirable).
