This role, reporting to the Plant Manager forms part of our high performing Manufacturing team. You will manage, monitor and adjust the production plan to ensure production output and finished goods achieve production forecasts and Customer quoted lead times. This role will lead a team of 3 and is pivotal to our plants success.

Key responsibilities:
- Update, monitor and review daily production actuals against production plans
- Ensure that work orders are processed and actioned on time
- Ensure customer orders are scheduled into the production plan to balance customer, shift and material requirements
- Proactive in identifying scheduling issues and implementing improvements
- Provide schedule updates within weekly production meetings and as required with schedule changes to all relevant stakeholders
- Lead and complete periodic stock takes
- Manage the performance of the planning team providing instruction and training – performance management staff development and recruitment
- Assist in driving a high-performance safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSE processes
- Maintain high quality and efficient output
About you:
- Extensive planning and scheduling experience
- Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing organisation
- Competent level of IT skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- Understanding of maintenance and efficiency outputs
- Ability to manage conflicting demands
- Ideally hold a degree or certificate 4 from Finance, Administration or Manufacturing
- Leadership skills and stakeholder management ability
- Hold full Australian work rights
