As part of the Supply MRU, the Procurement Officer will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational service to the business on purchasing transactions including obtaining supplier quotations and ensuring all purchases represent the best value for Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal.

A major focus of the position is the management of vendor performance towards the delivery of contractor standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage and grow your procurement knowledge.

What we are looking for:

  • Procurement and inventory management experience in an industrial environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of the procurement to pay process (P2P), inventory management, tender and contracting processes.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy including the ability to use MC Office software suite.
  • Familiar with utilising the purchasing module in JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.
  • Formal qualifications in supply, commerce, or business (highly regarded).
