Plant Mechanic – Ravensworth – Planned Component Replacement Crew
WesTrac is seeking experienced Plant Mechanics to join our team based at Ravensworth.
Reporting to the Planned Component Replacement Supervisor, this role will see you utilising your mechanical expertise to conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on 797F Mining Trucks. With a key focus on safety, you will work alongside our team to ensure all work is completed to Caterpillar standards and ensure exceptional results for our customer. You will actively contribute to a positive team environment, sharing knowledge, and providing support to the crew.
Roster
- Week 1: Monday Thursday dayshift
- Week 2: Monday Thursday nightshift
- 12.5 Hour Shifts
Remuneration
- Site specific incentive schemes available – earn an additional $11,000
- Shift allowance & competitive location allowance applied to all hours worked
- Potential earnings up to $190,000*
*Rates above are a guide only; each candidate will be assessed based on competencies and experience within role and are subject to change
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Mobile Plant or Heavy Vehicle Trade Qualification (Australian Trade Recognised)
- Working at heights (desirable)
- MDG25 (desirable)
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Strong job planning skills
- Glencore generic induction (desirable)
