A newly created role has opened for a Payroll & Administration Officer who is looking for a part time opportunity. Based in Newton, and initially working 26 hours per week with the view to convert to full time, this role will suit someone who is seeking a varied role with payroll and general office administration experience. Reporting to the owner of a family-owned business, this exciting opportunity will be able to shape the role to suit the business needs.

About the role:
- Honouring privacy and confidentiality, you will be required to process weekly payroll in a timely and accurate manner for approximately 40 employees including managing terminations, onboarding, off boarding, leave, discrepancies = all things payroll!
- Accounts payable & receivable including data entry and statement reconciliation
- Purchase orders and ordering materials as required
- General office administration including managing email inbox, printing, filing etc
- Manage EBA and employment contracts
- Provide tender submission, WHS and quality support
- Assist with resource allocation
About you:
- Must have payroll processing experience
- Sound knowledge of MYOB is essential
- Resilient and hard working
- No task is too small attitude
- Demonstrated general office administration experience
- Great interpersonal skills
- A self-starter who can work autonomously
