Hot Seater – Haul Truck Operator

About our Client

Whitehaven Coal is Australia’s largest independent coal producer and the leading coal producer in Northwest New South Wales.

About the role:

Our client is seeking Skilled Haul Truck Operators or those keen to be trained for crib relief roles in the Gunnedah Basin.

What you will need:

• Previous Haul Truck Operating experience OR
• Previous experience operating mobile plant in a civil, quarry or construction environment (Loaders, Dozers, Moxys, Skid Steer, Tractors etc)
• Minimum P2 Class Licence and can confidently drive manual
• Residential address located within 1hrs drive to Mine site
• Ability to undertake an Order 43 Medical and Drug and Alcohol screening.
• CMI check (or willing to obtain)

What you will be doing:

• Learn how to safely operate Dump Trucks in a coal mining environment
• Working Day shifts on a Monday – Friday roster
• Meeting KPIs within the coal production environment

Benefits:

• Additional hourly allowances accrued after your first 3 months:
• Allowance 1: $5 per hour paid weekly
• Allowance 2: $5 per hour paid quarterly
• Monday – Friday roster
• Superannuation paid on all rostered hours
