Your new opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has opened within the Penske Australia On Highway Wholesale Technical Support Team, to provide market leading aftersales support for Western Star, Detroit and Dennis Eagle products. Deliver customer focused technical and product support to Penske dealers in NSW through effective leadership, organisational skills and dealer capability to support customers success in their business.
In this role you will:
- Provide product and technical support to assigned Penske authorised dealers and branches to develop capability to support our customers and major fleets in this region
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with key personnel within the network including operational and executive management in regard to support issues, product releases and updates
- Establish consistent Aftersales Service procedures throughout the dealer network
- Liaise with major franchise suppliers on a regular basis
- Implement best practices to optimise customer uptime into the dealer network for after sales service
- Deliver general technical and operational updates to dealer/branch staff as required
- Carry out structured dealer visits and develop improvement action plans in conjunction with the dealer/branch management team
About you:
- Appropriate heavy vehicle trade qualifications
- Sound knowledge of Western Star, Detroit and North American driveline class 8 products
- Sound skills with the MS Suite of products
- Strong organisational, time management and customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in technical area at management or supervisory level
- Strong problem solving skills
