Mining Supervisor

Golding is in search of a self-motivated Mining Supervisor to join our cohesive overburden and coal mining team at Baralaba Mine.

As the trusted right-hand to our Mining Superintendent, you’ll be an integral member with expertise in production operations. Your proactive approach and dedication to achieving results will play a key role in driving our safety and production standards to excellence.

This position follows a 7/7 roster, alternating between day and night shifts, providing you with an opportunity to fully engage in the operational environment while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Camp accommodation is provided

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct shift handovers, prestart, and toolbox meetings with efficiency.
  • Guide your team to execute the production plan safely and effectively
  • Provide valuable technical guidance to your team members, sharing your expertise and boosting their capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisors to implement maintenance plans for the shift.
  • Generate accurate and timely shift reports.
  • Perform inspections and job observations as part of your responsibilities.
