Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, your responsibilities will include
- Completion of short, medium, and long term planning, including Life of Mine (LOM)
- Develop and manage production budgets, schedules, and forecasts
- Adjust and manage mine plans, agreement of rates and mine plan outputs
- Assist with weekly and monthly reconciliation of mine production activities
- Develop and maintain annual and 5-year production budgets
- Identify, analyse and implement technical advancements and process improvements

Suitable candidates will have
- Tertiary Mining Engineering qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience working in an underground coal mining environment
- Experience with mine planning software or willingness to participate in mine planning software training
- Excellent work ethic and attendance record
- Commitment to site safety, operational practices, and mine production targets
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Sound computer literacy skills
