Job Description
Are you a finance professional seeking an opportunity to lead and excel in a dynamic environment? We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Mine Accountant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the finance function, reporting directly to the Commercial manager, and leading a team of accountants.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and coaching a team of accountants
- Being the lead for the HVO’s finance function with a focus on driving a high-performing culture
- Collaborating with cross-functional departments to understand the operational and technical aspects of the industry
- Thinking fast on your feet and employing analytical skills to interrogate data and identify patterns
- Showcasing high proficiency in SAP and Excel usage
- Applying both Management and Financial Accounting skills
- Contributing to a supportive team culture that embraces change and process improvements
Roster and Location
- Monday to Friday professional roster
- Based on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)
About You
- CA / PA Qualified
- Interest in numbers and processes, ideally with exposure to forecasts and budgets
- A team player with confidence in working independently and driving deliverability
- Clear communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
- SAP and Xeras skills are desirable
- Highly motivated individual with ability to successfully drive change
