About the Role:

Due to continued growth, Mader are currently seeking Mechanical Fitters to join our SA Metro based Fixed plant maintenance team.

Predominantly you will be working on Fixed Plant Maintenance & Fabrication from Gearboxes, Pumps, Crushers, Conveyors, Stackers & Reclaimers.

Based on a 5/2 (Monday to Friday) Roster, various shift times available.

With operations across a broad range of customers, regions and commodities, no two days are ever the same.

Key duties:

  • Fixed Plant Maintenance – Workshop & Site Based
  • Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience in Fixed Plant Mining equipment
  • Perform any planned maintenance including breakdown repairs as directed
  • Performing scheduled maintenance, statutory testing, and inspections
  • Perform breakdowns on fixed plant equipment

What do I need to join?

  • Trade Certificate
  • Drivers Licence
  • National Police Check within 3-6 months or willing to get
  • Hold current Working at Heights and Confined Space ticket
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Strong commitment towards safety and quality
