Company Overview:
Atom Resources is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company. We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to perform maintenance and shutdown work across a variety of mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. This role offers the potential for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, bearings, and other mechanical systems.
Assist with planned shutdowns, overhauls, and equipment repairs to minimise downtime.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults across manufacturing equipment.
Install, modify, and commission new mechanical systems as needed.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with safety protocols.

Key Requirements:

3-5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a manufacturing environment.
Trade qualification (Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical).
Experience in plant shutdowns and critical maintenance work.
Strong troubleshooting skills and safety awareness.
Ability to travel to Western Sydney and work flexible hours, including overtime during shutdowns.
