About the Role

  

Based in Middle Swan, we are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our maintenance team.  Our mechanical fitters are critical in the maintenance, upgrades / improvements undertaken on our plants to ensure efficiencies of all machinery to achieve product demands.

  

Your role will include:

  • Maintaining and repairing various fixed plant and mobile equipment
  • Work effectively with other maintenance and production team members, to better understand and manage equipment maintenance and resolve problems
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement programs
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safe work practices

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant trade qualification along with substantial post trade experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment;
  • Demonstrated understanding of hydraulics;
  • Demonstrated sound problem solving skills and ability to think outside of the box
  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment
  • A LF Forklift licence (highly regarded)
  • Rigging/dogman ticket (highly regarded)
