Based in Middle Swan, we are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our maintenance team. Our mechanical fitters are critical in the maintenance, upgrades / improvements undertaken on our plants to ensure efficiencies of all machinery to achieve product demands.
Your role will include:
- Maintaining and repairing various fixed plant and mobile equipment
- Work effectively with other maintenance and production team members, to better understand and manage equipment maintenance and resolve problems
- Participate in Continuous Improvement programs
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safe work practices
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant trade qualification along with substantial post trade experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment;
- Demonstrated understanding of hydraulics;
- Demonstrated sound problem solving skills and ability to think outside of the box
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
- A LF Forklift licence (highly regarded)
- Rigging/dogman ticket (highly regarded)
