ETA has an opportunity for experienced mechanical fitters to secure long term work with brilliant career advancement opportunities. Located in Henderson, Perth.
Job scope: providing mechanical maintenance services for the naval and commercial ship repair, and industrial sectors.
Location – Henderson
Scope of Work – Marine/Naval/Defence and Commercial Contracts
Start date – ASAP – All start dates are on Mondays.
Day shifts – 6:30AM – 3PM
Pay – $/h flat rate
Unlimited overtime available

Required tickets/experience

Mechanical fitter Qualification
White card
WA drivers license
experience in repair of gearboxes, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, conveyor components, compressors, diesel engines
identify and report potential safety hazards
Able to work to a target for environment, quality, and safety criteria

Desirable tickets/qualities

Rigging/dogging ticket
Forklift ticket
Confined space
Working at heights
EWP
Work well in a team, adapt to changes, and work with minimal supervision
Responsible for providing mechanical maintenance services within the naval/commercial ship repair & industrial sectors in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols
Ideally Marine experienced but not required
ability to obtain military facility access
