Mechanical Fitter

As our valued Mechanical Fitter, your expertise will be essential to ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, playing a crucial role in M2P’s success.

Based at our Salisbury workshop, youll use your skills to:

Perform maintenance, assembly, and repairs on a variety of mechanical equipment.
Work with precision tools and machinery to deliver quality outcomes.
Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards and is fit for purpose.
Support ongoing project needs with your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Youll Make an Impact By:

Inspecting, assembling, and installing mechanical systems with accuracy and care.
Diagnosing faults and implementing repairs to maintain operational efficiency.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings to guide your work.
Collaborating with the team to deliver projects on time and to specification.

What Youll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

Relevant trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent.
Proven experience in maintenance, assembly, and repair of mechanical systems.
Strong skills in interpreting technical drawings and documentation.
Knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
Australian work rights and a commitment to quality work.

Ideally, you will also have:

Experience working in workshop settings.
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
A proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
