About the role
With continued growth and future expansion plans our Component Rebuild Centre (CRC) on-site at Tomago is seeking Light and Heavy Vehicle, and/or Aircraft Mechanics to join the expanding team! Reporting to the Workshop Supervisors across our Engines and Power Train divisions, youll receive specialised training on the job to assist with maintenance, servicing, and complete rebuilds. These roles will play a crucial role in the assembly and disassembly of engines, powertrains, and final drives from a variety of CAT machinery and equipment.
The successful applicants will join a high-performing team that ensures a safe work environment, customer satisfaction, and technician productivity.
Roster & Remuneration
- Monday-Friday (48 Hour week rotating days/nights)
- Roster Pattern: 5D2O x2 5N2O x2
- TRADE rates from $ P/HR OT FROM $

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the assembly and disassembly of engines, powertrains, and final drives.
- Contribute to maintenance tasks and servicing procedures.
- Ensure a safe work environment, prioritise customer satisfaction, and maintain high technician productivity.
- Work effectively within a high-performing team to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
Skills & Experience
- Trade Qualifications in Light/Heavy Vehicle, and/or Aircraft Mechanics is advantageous.
- A strong interest in mechanical systems and/or the willingness to learn.
- Experience using hand tools for repair and assembly work.
- Ability to follow procedures and scopes of work.
- Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices.
- Familiarity with component change-outs and engine assembly is advantageous.
- Collaborative and able to work well within a team.
