About the role

We are seeking experienced MC Drivers local to the Newcastle, Tamworth, Moree or Central Coast areas to join the Qube team, to transport dangerous goods across various locations in the Hunter Valley region.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Expert operation and care of Qubes vehicles and equipment
  • Operating in a safe and compliant manner
  • Completing all documentation, and pre- and post-start checks

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

  • Current Unrestricted MC license
  • Dangerous Goods license (or ability to obtain one)
  • Road Train and B-Double experience
  • Basic Fatigue Management accreditation
  • Road Ranger experience
  • Good knowledge of load restraint guidelines
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • A positive attitude towards the transport industry
  • Flexibility to work a varied roster
  • 6-days on/6-days off rotating roster

The following is preferable, but not essential and we will provide training for:

  • UHL/QESC Clearance required
  • Standard 11

You will have the ability to pass all pre-employment checks, which may include a medical assessment, National Police clearance check, driving license history check, reference checks, identity check, verification of tickets, licenses, accreditations and qualifications.

This is a residential role only, so candidates must live in Newcastle or the surrounding areas, or be willing to relocate.
