Maintenance Fitter – $45/hr Overtime | Heavy Industrial Equipment | Villawood, NSW

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to plant breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical faults
  • Execute and adhere to planned maintenance schedules
  • Conduct major overhauls of equipment as scheduled
  • Analyze faults and contribute to plant reliability improvement initiatives
  • Complete and maintain all required maintenance documentation

About You:

The ideal candidate will have a Craftsman Certificate as a Fitter or Fitter Machinist, with proven experience working with heavy industrial equipment. You will have strong knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, and experience in working safely at heights and in confined spaces. A High-Risk Work Licence (LF, WP) is preferred, but a willingness to obtain one is essential. You should possess a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to working safely at all times.

Requirements:

  • Fitter or Fitter Machinist Certification (Essential)
  • Proven experience with heavy industrial equipment
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • High-Risk Work Licence (LF, WP) preferred, or willingness to obtain
