About the role:
We’re RTS, one of Australia’s largest providers of train crews, and we specialise in supplying highly skilled rail staff to Australia’s largest operators. Because of this we focus on attracting and retaining only the very best people in the industry, we love what we do and there’s no reason why you wouldn’t want to join us!
On offer is the chance to support one of Australia’s largest rail operators as a Roll-By Observer based at their Port Kembla depot. As a Roll-By Observer, you will be required to conduct visual roll-by inspections of crossing/passing trains, either from the ground or on-train.

About you:
It all sounds great doesn’t it, so what do we expect of you?
- If you have rail experience that’s great, if not that’s ok too, we just need you to be safety focused, enthusiastic and passionate about learning!
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment checks including Psychometric Safety Testing, CAT 1 medical, physical assessment and ongoing D&A screens
- Ability to complete a National Police Clearance
- Must hold a valid FULL C Class Drivers Licence
