leading and coordinating electrical and instrumentation resources.
- be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
- collaborate closely with other shift supervisors, engineers, and maintenance personnel in preparing and coordinating electrical and instrumentation services.
- organize the maintenance activities, assign and coordinates e&i personnel and/or on-site contractors according to the maintenance program.
- create space for the team to be effective in delivering results.

- provide clear work objectives and expectations of the performance levels required to achieve business plans and maintenance targets.
- ensure that training, tools and specialized ppes are provided in accordance with the current and future needs of ct gold.

- administer and comply with system requirements in a manner consistent with policies, procedures and regulations.
- perform worksite inspections and safe work observations; participate in and lead investigations.

- certified electrician, electrical engineer, e&i technician or degree in related program.
- certificate of qualification skill trade certificate (red seal) is required.
- completed apprenticeship is required.
work experience – nature & length
- a minimum of 5 years of related work experience, with at least 1 year of related leadership experience.
- previous experience in an industrial environment (specifically mineral processing) is considered an asset.
additional qualifications – competency requirements
- basic knowledge of high voltage equipment, large ac motors, vfds, switchgears, mccs, plcs and instrumentation.
- knowledge of applicable codes and legislation in electricity.
- demonstrated ability to engage and empower multi-disciplinary teams.
- proven communication skills, both verbal, written and non-verbal.
- proficiency in computer applications and maintenance softwares.
- ability to work effectively under pressure.
- a valid ontario drivers license is required.
- understand efficiency drivers in a mining operation.
- self-motivated individual who is driven to find solutions and strive for continuous improvement in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
