Lead Field Technician – Machine Control

Full-time position Salary based on 40hrs per week Newcastle office location – role servicing whole of NSW ACRUX Search is currently sourcing an experienced Lead Field Technician to join our client’s team deploying machine control systems to the construction equipment industry. Our client is a technology services and products business working in the construction equipment sector, specialising in Machine Control Systems (High Precision 3D GPS machine guidance). Our client is perfectly positioned to disrupt the market with superior product features and highly competitive pricing. The ideal candidate will have practical installation experience working on mobile construction equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders, dozers, and graders.  Duties include, but not limited to:  Responsible for installation of machine control systems  Component installation and connecting power System calibration Maintenance and repair of products Quality assurance Pre and post installation reporting Support and lead a team of installers  Ability to travel around NSW – may require a few nights away from home per fortnight, dependent on crew structure Requirements Proven professional experience as a Field Technician Practical installation experience working on mobile construction equipment Ability to work autonomously and part of a team Understanding of how to source 12v / 24v power on construction machines Self-motivated and reliable individual with the ability to supervise and grow a team of installers Trade certificate and qualifications are not essential as full training will be provided across their product range Benefits Competitive remuneration package  Occasional overtime and weekend work Annual training allowance  Become part of an innovative and rapidly growing team  Our client has engaged ACRUX Search to manage this recruitment process exclusively.
