Laboratory Technician

Stawell Gold Mines currently has Laboratory Technicians.  These are residential full time roles working 7/7 roster.

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you will:

• Health, safety & environment
• Perform routine metallurgical test work
• Prepare all geological and metallurgical samples
• Perform all routine assaying tasks as required
• Participate in site safety systems
• Other support and duties as required The successful candidate should possess the following skills, knowledge, experience, training and qualifications:
• Current Victorian Drivers License is a requirement
• Good communication skills, both oral and written is a requirement
• Capacity to communicate with and understand the needs of fellow employees.
• A high regard for safety is a requirement
• Forklift licence is desirable
• First aid certificate is desirable
• The ability to work as a team member
