ConsMin produces some of the worlds highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining. Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland. Job Description
Its an exciting time at ConsMin. We are introducing new Diesel/ to our existing fleet and are actively seeking experienced HV Electricians to strengthen the team.
Reporting to the Supervisor Mobile Maintenance, the successful applicants will be required:
- Conduct maintenance activities to the mining and support vehicle fleet, consisting predominantly of Caterpillar, Komatsu and XCMG equipment.
- Conducting workshop maintenance and maintaining high housekeeping standards in work areas.
- Diagnosing and repairing machines/equipment in both a workshop and field environment.

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements to be successful in this role are:
- Cert III Auto Electrician trade -Heavy (Australia recognised)
- Valid C Class drivers licence (minimum).
- National Police Clearance.
- Electrical License recognised in WA
- Exposure to Diesel Electric Drive Systems
- CPR/LVR within 12 months
- Recognised HV Switching qualification within 5 years
- Demonstrated experience in a similar position on a mine site
- Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures
Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC (dated within the last 6 months (or able to obtain) and provide valid references.
