Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to provide Human Resource services, recruiting and onboarding roles, and supporting key stakeholders. This role is diverse in nature and offers a wonderful opportunity for a Human Resources professional looking for an opportunity to support our talent pipeline programs.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Officer to join our Divisional HR team based in Newcastle, NSW. Reporting to an HR Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to provide professional HR support across the human resource function in key areas including recruitment and on-boarding & organisational capability with a focus on recruiting our talent pipeline programs, HR systems maintenance and HRIS reporting and analytics.
Your tasks include coordination of recruitment including candidate management, working with key stakeholders involving selection process and procedures; reporting including demographic & diversity, recruitment and performance management analytics, HR document and register control and general HR administration. You will have the opportunity to travel to all of our operational regions in the performance of your duties.
To be successful you will have prior experience within a Human Resources operational setting. You will have demonstrated knowledge of contemporary human resource practices, organisational and time management skills and be able to make decisions on day-to-day administrative tasks for timely resolution.

You are a motivated self-starter with exceptional communication, negotiating and influencing skills with the ability to work autonomously in a high-volume transactional capacity whilst improving efficiencies where required.
You will have Degree level qualifications in HR, Business or Psychology or a related field with a proven capacity to manage generalist HR and recruitment activities. Experience in managing a project through to completion will make you a standout. These skills will be complemented by your attention to detail and desire to work as part of a cohesive and collaborative team. You will possess a current Australian driver’s license.
