Our renowned Not for Profit client is seeking an experienced HR business Partner to join their team based in one of Perth’s Central / inner suburbs. This role will initially start on a temporary basis with the strong prospect of becoming permanent.

Location: CBD / Inner Suburbs
Hours: 38 – 40 Hours per week (Mon – Fri)
Start: ASAP
Pay rate: Approx $55ph – $60ph super DOE
Duration: Ongoing temporary assignment with perm opportunity for the right candidate.
The Role
This role will be responsible for delivering Generalist HR support with a strong focus on performance and change management and providing outcomes aligned with the companies’ values and operational requirements. This client is also seeking someone with strong exposure to Payroll processes.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Provide hands-on support, coaching and learning opportunities for operational leaders and teams
- Assist with the development of strategy documents and negotiating relevant enterprise agreements aligned with overall BU plan
- Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, resolving any payroll-related issues as they arise.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees on payroll and benefits inquiries, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Assist with payroll audits, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Support the implementation of programs and initiatives as required on an annual or ad hoc basis
- Implementing and driving progressive human resource policies, programs, and best practice processes in the region.
- Performing, measuring, and reporting on agreed human resources metrics
About You
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in HR, Business or proven relevant experience
- Proven human resources experience in Not for Profit environment will be beneficial
- Exposure to a HR metrics driven environment providing insight and advice to optimise productivity and cost discipline
- Demonstrated ER/IR experience including the negotiation of multiple EA’s and complex case management
- Exposure to formal proceedings involving Employees, FWC, Trade Unions or other external bodies/parties as required
- Solid working knowledge of employee relations legislation
- Demonstrated understanding and experience working with HR policies, systems and procedures
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
