About the role
We are seeking experienced HME / Ancil / Diesel Fitters to join our Bowen Basin projects at Olive Downs Complex and Lake Vermont.
As a Fitter, you will be required to:
- Maintain, repair and service on a variety of mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently in line with Thiess and Industry standards
- Excellent diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills
About you
- Mechanical/Diesel Fitting trade qualification
- Enthusiastic attitude & high performing work ethic
- Proven experience in a similar role in mining, heavy industry or construction
- Commitment to a positive safety culture
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Standard 11 desirable
Roster & Conditions Olive Downs Complex (Moranbah)
- 7 on 7 off rotating shift roster
- 12-hour day & night shift
- BIBO from Mackay
Roster & Conditions Lake Vermont (Dysart)
- 7 on 7 off rotating shift roster
- 12.5-hour day & night shift
- BIBO from Mackay, Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Townsville & Bundaberg.
