Food & Beverage Manager

ACRUX Search is currently sourcing an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join, grow and exceed the current operations for one of our well-known clients in Perth, WA. Our client is after a Food & Beverage Manager to take on an important role within their organisation, leading a multi-venue establishment to success. You will be responsible for managing the entire Food & Beverage team, training casual staff, streamlining processes, implementing procedures, and ensuring a high level of service for all patrons.  As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will report directly to the Operations Manager.  Duties include, but are not limited to: • Ordering of food and beverages to budget, including generating purchase orders • Maintenance and updating point of sale (POS) system • Assist Finance with POS / food and beverage reports and reconciliations • Maintenance of stock levels and stock rotation • Liaise with kitchen to update Food and Beverage menus in POS • Manage food and beverage staff • Manage and coordinate casual Food & Beverage staff on race nights and for events • Process rosters for casual and permanent food & beverage staff • Process cash float orders • Reconcile and report takings after close of trade • Liaise with the relevant departments before meetings and events/functions to ensure all facilities are ready • Assist with casual Food & Beverage staff onboarding • Liaising with government departments regarding licensing and other hospitality requirements • Manage Food & Beverage staff for all run events • Report weekly to Operations Manager • Other duties as required Requirements • Great all-round hospitality skills • Proven ability to manage staff • Attention to detail • Willingness to assist and collaborate with other teams • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Publisher) • Excellent communication skills • Excellent organisational skills • Ability to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner • Ability to identify problems and look for improvements • Initiative and self-motivation • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a resilient attitude • RSA • Unrestricted Approved Managers Card • Preferably minimum 5 years in a similar role • Prefer experience using Abacus POS system Benefits • East Perth location • Free parking onsite • 38-hour working week with time in lieu for any over time required  • Only work 2 Nights per week (Tuesday and Friday) unless there is a function, additional hours will be required • Work regular business hours on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Our client has engaged ACRUX Search to manage this recruitment process exclusively.
