About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced hospitality expert whos always wanted to work on a mine site but want to find out a little more before plunging in? Civeo Australia are seeking applications for FIFO Utility staff to join our WA team, and were offering the opportunity to attend an Assessment Centre covering everything site life; the conditions, the rooms, the work, you name it! 

This is open to WA residents only and spots are limited, your participation at our Assessment Centre will enable us to make swift hiring decisions and you can expect an outcome within 10 days of attending. We have sessions available on the 21st and 22nd of October available and open for roles commencing between November and Jan

  • Nightshift loading of $2.00 per hour for any hours worked 8.00pm – 5.00am

Essential requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s licence Manual C class is essential for most roles (some exceptions may apply in certain departments but are not guaranteed)
  • Current, valid Right to Work in Australia on an ongoing basis
  • Able to commit to ongoing 2:1 roster (2 weeks on, one week off)
  • Able to fly from Perth Airport or based residential in Port Hedland
  • Flexible to work day or night shift if required for your role
  • Relevant tickets for the position you are applying for (LF forklift for stores, RSA for Tavern, Barista Certs etc.)

  • Phone discussion with Recruitment Team
  • Attend the Civeo Assessment Centre on 21 or 22 Oct, where youll participate in activities, meet with the TA team & operational leaders and have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have
  • Complete Civeo paperwork and provide relevant documents, including a Police Clearance less than 6 months old
  • Complete Pre Employment Medica Assessment & Drug screen (at a location close to you)
  • Complete all Site and Civeo inductions – online and face to face
  • Collect uniforms
  • Fly to site on start date
