Based in Baulkham Hills, we are looking for a responsible and experienced individual to join our team as a Concrete Field Tester working mainly on customer sites. Working independently this role reports to the Technical Supervisor – Concrete and involves undertaking tasks in relation to sampling, testing, maintenance of records, reporting of results for our concrete products.

Your day will involve:

Conduct sampling of concrete samples on site
Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals.
Calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations
Other duties as directed by the Field Tester Section Head

What are we looking for?

Demonstrable experience as a concrete field tester
Nata Signatory in concrete testing would be highly desirable
Experience in a supervisor or team leader would be highly desirable
Experience in Qest LIMS system
A commitment to safety and quality
Relevant tertiary qualifications in science or another relevant discipline e.g. Civil, Chemical or Materials – (desirable but not essential).
Well developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc).
Good time management and organisational skills
An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines
Knowledge of Australian and Industry standards
