About the Role

Do you have what it takes to be a Field Service Plant Mechanic with WesTrac?

Our Field Service team in Griffith cater to customers throughout the region, providing them with service and breakdown solutions. Reporting to our Branch Manager, this role will see you travelling between jobs to provide CAT expertise and ensure minimal downtime. With extensive mechanical aptitude and a safety-first approach to everything you do, this role is best suited to those that love to problem solve and spend their days diagnosing faults.

Roster and Remuneration

  • Monday Friday DAY SHIFT ONLY
  • Roster Pattern: 5D2O
  • Shift times: 7:00AM 17:30PM
  • Annual earnings FROM $132,000 – $180,000*
  • Delayed starts available!

Skills & Experience

  • Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification with heavy industry experience is essential
  • Experience rebuilding mobile mining equipment and/or components is highly regarded
  • A solutions-focused mindset and ability to adapt to changing requirements
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
  • Unrestricted Drivers Licence
  • Close attention to detail and ability to perform tasks to meet Caterpillar quality standards
  • Team oriented with proven ability to meet set deadlines
