Your opportunity:
As a Field Construction Officer based at Bowen, you’ll be a skilled and competent tradesperson who performs a pivotal role in supporting the work group from a technical and work planning perspective, i.e. planning and organising pre-construction activities, and providing in-field technical support to ensure work is undertaken in an effective and efficient way. 
Here’s how you’ll do it:

  • Support the Work Group Leader in driving a cohesive team by providing technical advice and trade based coaching and mentoring.
  • Promote a safe work environment.
  • Plan, organise and schedule pre-work activities.
  • Champion organisational change strategies.
  • Ensure planned site preparation activities set the teams up for success.

The remuneration for your new role is:

  • 9 day fortnight from $128,919 per annum $7,000 field supervisor allowance % superannuation
  • 10 day fortnight from $148,901 per annum $7,000 field supervisor allowance % superannuation

What youll bring:
Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certification of Competency as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic and/or Electrical Linesperson, or Electrical Supply Industry Technical Serviceperson or Electrical Jointer.


Wed love you to have:

  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers. You must have the ability to identify and understand customer needs.
  • Availability for call out and emergency work.
  • Willingness to travel to surrounding area from time to time to undertake work.
