Job Title: Export Operator
Location: Pinkenba
Employment Type: 3-4 Month Contract
Working Hours: 38 hours per week, flexible start between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role:
Our client is looking for an Export Operator to join their team on a temporary basis. This role involves supporting both air and sea logistics, making it a great opportunity for someone eager to start or build their career in export logistics. The ideal candidate will have some experience using CargoWise and a basic understanding of international shipping processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Preparing Export Documentation: Help create and manage documentation for both air and sea exports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Support Export Container Packing: Assist in coordinating the packing of export containers for sea shipments, learning to ensure efficiency and schedule adherence.
- Communicate with Customers and Shipping Lines: Serve as a point of contact for customers and shipping lines, helping to facilitate clear and timely communication for both air and sea shipments.
- Liaise with Regulatory Authorities: Assist in ensuring all export activities for air and sea logistics meet legal and compliance standards by communicating with relevant regulatory bodies.
Required Experience:
- CargoWise Proficiency: Some experience using CargoWise for export documentation and logistics is preferred.
- Basic Understanding of Export Documentation: Some familiarity with export documents and procedures is beneficial.
